Download Server Software
You need to download server software only in case you decide
not to use SiteBar Services but to run
your own SiteBar bookmark server. SiteBar is an open source software
covered by GPL -
GNU General Public License, so the only thing you have to care about
is, whether you have the right place where to run it. Please check
the requirements page to see what
parameters your hosting should have. If you find you do not have the
right hosting or you do not want to host SiteBar yourself, you may
check the services page.

Download Plugins
When downloading a SiteBar plugin please beware that you
download correct version. The version of each plugin consists of
minimal SiteBar version and plugin version. Plugin for higher SiteBar
version will most likely not work if there is a plugin that matches
closer your SiteBar version.

XBEL Synchronization

This plugin allows two way automated bookmark sync with
Firefox Bookmarks
Synchronizer Extension. While still storing your bookmarks in the
SiteBar server you can
- use native Firefox functions to manage your bookmarks in
the Firefox with Bookmark Synchronizer,
- access your bookmarks anywhere using any browser when you
are not at your desk.
Go to "SiteBar > User Settings >
XBELSync Settings" for setup instructions.

Bookmarks Synchronizer SE 1.1.8 SiteBar Edition is a
reviewed version of the Bookmark Synchronizer SE developed by
Xerix. This version is compatible with Firefox 1.5.0.8 and 2.0.
While we did our best to review this Firefox extension and we are
also using it ourself, beware this is declared to be a beta version
by its author. It also seems that the original author of this
useful extension, Torisugari, discontinued support. |
